Adding your card (nothing is charged up front)
You add a card during setup, but nothing is charged then. You’re only charged as your texts bring in sales. See How billing works.
Why it’s on our site, not inside Shopify
Card details are never entered inside Shopify. If you’re setting up inside your Shopify admin:
- Click Add card on bubblesms.com. Our site opens in a new tab, already signed in, so there’s no new password.
- Tick the box to agree to the terms and your order form. If someone referred you, add their referral code.
- Add your card on a secure page from our payment processor. We never see your full card number.
- Go back to the Shopify tab. It moves on by itself once your card is saved, so you can close the other tab.
Started on our site instead? It’s the same step without the extra tab.
Who can add the card
Only a store owner. If you’re a member, setup shows An owner adds the card: ask an owner on your team to sign in and finish this step. See Owners and members.
Your order form
Open Your order form on the billing step before you agree. It sets out your terms: the fee on the product sales your texts bring in, that tax and shipping are never charged, that refunds don’t change fees already earned, and the discount ladder for your customers. Your exact rate is in your order form and your dashboard.
Changing the card later
Go to Billing, find Payment method and click Update. Inside Shopify this opens our site in a new tab, so nothing about your card is ever typed inside Shopify. Receipts, alerts and the weekly summary go to your Billing contact, never to a shared inbox like support@.
If the card page says it was cancelled or the card couldn’t be saved, nothing was stored. Try again or use another card.
