Installing from Shopify or from our site
You can start from the Shopify App Store or from bubblesms.com. Either way you end up in the same place, and BubbleSMS asks Shopify for the same access.
From Shopify
- Find BubbleSMS in the Shopify App Store and click Install.
- Shopify shows the access BubbleSMS asks for. Approve it.
- BubbleSMS opens inside your Shopify admin at the Details step, with Install already done.
Afterwards you’ll find us under Apps › BubbleSMS in your Shopify admin.
From our site
BubbleSMS is invite-only right now. On bubblesms.com, click Request an invite and leave your email; we’ll email you a personal link when your invite is ready.
- Open the link in your invite email.
- Enter your work email (the one the invite was sent to) and your store address (yourstore.com or your-store.myshopify.com). We email you a 6-digit code that works for 10 minutes.
- Click Install on Shopify, approve the access on Shopify’s screen, and you come straight back to the card step.
Typed the wrong store? Click the store address under the Install button to change it.
What BubbleSMS can see in your store
We ask for the least access each flow needs. Click What can BubbleSMS see? on the install screen to see this list before Shopify shows its own.

We never touch payments or payouts, staff accounts, themes or store settings.
Reconnecting
If BubbleSMS loses its connection to your store, your dashboard shows Reconnect your Shopify store and texting pauses for that store. Open BubbleSMS from Apps in your Shopify admin to reconnect it.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling removes our access to your store straight away and texting stops. Customer data requests and erasure requests sent through Shopify are handled automatically. See Your data and your customers’ privacy.
