What counts as an attributed sale
An order counts as ours, and is billed, only when the customer uses the one-use code from their conversation. That’s the whole rule.
Counted
- An order placed with a code the assistant sent in a conversation. The code is personal and works once, so there’s no doubt which conversation drove the sale.
Not counted
- An order from someone we texted who didn’t use the code, even straight after the conversation.
- An order with any other discount code, or none.
- Review requests: they send a review link, not a code, so they never create attributed sales.
We don’t count a sale just because it happened within a few days of a text, and there’s no holdout group. One code, one sale.
What’s billed on an attributed order
The product sales: the order subtotal after discounts. Tax and shipping are left out.
Where to see it
- In the thread: the side panel’s Attributed order shows product sales, tax and shipping, and the code applied, with the note “Fee is on product sales only”.
- On an invoice: each invoice lists its attributed orders, with a CSV to download.
- On Overview: revenue, sales and average order for the period you pick.
Cancelled and test orders
Orders cancelled before they’re billed, and test orders, are left out. Refunds work differently. See Refunds, cancellations and your fee.
