How billing works: you pay as sales happen
You only pay as your texts bring in sales. Nothing is charged at setup, and nothing is charged in a week with no attributed sales.
Spending · pay as sales happen
Your dashboard describes what you spend the way you’d think about ad spend: what you spent, and what it brought back. Your spend grows with the revenue we bring back. Nothing is charged until your texts bring in sales.
You’ll see it as Spending · pay as sales happen on the billing step, on Billing, and on the Return on spend card on Overview. Your exact rate is in the order form you agreed to.
What the fee is on
- Attributed sales only: orders placed with a one-use code from one of your conversations. See What counts as an attributed sale.
- Product sales only: the order subtotal after discounts. Tax and shipping are never charged.
Return on spend is measured on order totals, while the fee leaves out tax and shipping, so the return reads a little higher than product sales alone would give.
Reading return on spend
Overview › Return on spend compares attributed revenue with what you were billed: the return you actually got, and how it changed from the period before. Billing shows the same for the last 30 days, plus a weekly chart of attributed revenue against billed.
When your rate changes
Changes to your agreement show in Settings › Store › Agreement before they apply. They never change invoices you’ve already been sent; each invoice records the rate in force when it was made.
Who can see billing
Owners only. Members don’t see Billing or Affiliate. See Owners and members.
